In 2020, after having lived in France and Spain, Nassim became the first Moroccan and African professional skater in history. Ever since then, I kept wondering: What had it been like for Nassim to rise to the forefront of the international skate scene, all the while wrestling with the challenges of immigration? In what way did his groundbreaking trajectory resonate with the current state of Morocco’s skate scene?”

Jury
Maritxu Darrigrand
Aventurière, sportive, surfeuse & entrepreneure
Ancienne championne française de surf, Maritxu Darrigrand a créé les Nuits de la Glisse et a été l’une des pionnières qui ont implanté la marque Quiksilver en Europe. Ayant débuté avec une simple ligne de maillots de bain en 1990, elle a également participé à la création de ROXY. Aujourd’hui, la marque domine tous les aspects de l’industrie des sports de glisse féminins. Première du genre, elle a ouvert la voie à toutes les autres entreprises de surf/lifestyle spécifiquement féminines. Au cours de ce développement, Maritxu a joué un rôle déterminant dans la démocratisation du surf féminin et du snowboard en compétition.
Manon Marcillat
Journaliste cinéma
Manon est journaliste cinéma pour Konbini depuis 2018 et ses meilleurs souvenirs sont d’avoir pu interviewer Jim Carrey et Jane Birkin la même semaine. Elle est également en direct sur Radio Campus Paris tous les mercredis pour discuter du bon et du moins bon des sorties ciné de la semaine.
Simon Cahn
Réalisateur
Simon Cahn est un réalisateur français. Il a débuté sa carrière à 19 ans avec son premier court métrage Prince Tribe. Il a également travaillé sur des projets de réalisation pour des marques internationales telles que Nike, Hermès ou encore Google et a été directeur artistique du magazine français Jalouse. En 2011, il a co-réalisé Mourir auprès de toi avec Spike Jonze qui a été diffusé dans de nombreux festivals. Il est actuellement entrain d’écrire son premier film.
